negative views on celeritys in newspapers!

As I began to read newspapers and study the presentation and the layout. I realised that especially on the front cover of newspapers it was very much based on celebrity news and gossip. There was a story about Mel B featured on the front cover of The Sun newspaper ‘pregnant Melb dumped by Eddie’ as far as I am concerned this is not a story which has a lot of significant to be the main feature on the front of a newspaper maybe inside as a an extra item if there is not a lot legitimate news to fill it up . The front page of the newspaper should be something relevant to all not just to people who are interested In celebrity news. Since when was celebrity gossip classed as news I suppose when they realised they were making a lot of money from it. I feel that newspapers are no longer trying to fill us up with relevant information but instead trying to engage us into non relevant info.
What is going on in someone’s life is important but I feel that the celebrity life is overly rated. You see celebrities on TV, Magazines, Newspapers, Radio and Internet. Its as though we are brought into this world always watching and analysing everyone else’s lives but our own its as though you’re a no body unless you’re a celebrity. When celebrities are pinpointed and are featured on the font cover of a magazine or newspaper it is never anything positive its all negative. My questions is why is the media based on so many negative features and why does it sell? Is it cause every one likes to read about everyone else’s horrible lives to make themselves feel better. Or is this celebrity all full of lies upon lies just for the press and media, photographers just to gain money. If so what kind of system do we live in when we don’t even care about each other that we would do anything just to make money. Invade peoples lives, make up rumours about on another, kill each other, and lie above all things just for MONEY.
The media has now become corrupted because of this one tool money, before it was a profession every one wanted to go into cause it looked fun and challenging. Now when you mention being a journalist every one sees it as to work in the industry you have to be nosey, deceitful, back stabbing and sly. The meaning of this article was to make you think where did the PRESS go wrong.

lindsay lohan admits 2 drugs sex n anorexia?

Lindsay Lohan Admits to Drugs, Anorexia, Bulimia, and Sluttiness
Even though she's probably going to take back everything she said (like she did with Vanity Fair), Lindsay Lohan opened up to News of the World, and discussed everything from being Bulimic, to using drugs, and her outlook on sex.
"I was making myself sick. Sometimes being that thin doesn't look healthy. I kind of didn't realise that. "One time when someone asked me if I was OK I just started bawling. I knew I had a problem and just could not admit it. "My arms were disgusting. I had no arms. I had people sit me down and say, 'You're going to die if you don't take care of yourself'." "I ended up in hospital. My liver was swollen and I had a kidney infection and my white blood cells were accelerated. I was really, really white, like a ghost, and my legs were so numb from not walking. My body did not have enough strength to take a shower."
On relationships and sex, Linsday was especially candid, saying she basically wants to sleep with as many people as possible, while she's still young.
"Sex And The City changed everything for me because those girls would just sleep with so many people. And that's me. I'm not dating just one person. "It is the variety of partners everyone likes, especially at my age. I'm like Angelina Jolie, taking on lovers. I don't need a steady relationship. "I mean if the sex is bad, the relationship's not going anywhere. Anyway, I don't even think I have had my best kiss yet."
Lindsay also admitted to using Pot, saying "I've tried pot. I hated it," but somehow, that strikes me as not being the entire truth.
At this point, however, I actually feel sorry for Lindsay. Compared to other young stars who grew up in front of the camera, it's obvious that her actions are those of someone starving for attention, regardless of the cost.

Shakires view:
Reading this article made me so upset that someone would actually put themselves through this just to be skinny. When you read up on celebrities and there lives its funny how they all sound the same. Depression of eating, having wild sex, and taking drugs. Its as though they feel they have been locked up in a cage all eyes on them and than after a while of being in the celebrity eyes they feel they have to let loose. Its as though they have had enough of trying to be perfect and just want to be looked at as another human being. In some cases celebrities do this for attention, just to reach the front cover of a newspaper. As you can see from this the pressure of the public, media and celebrities themselves are huge. The media itself are making people change and conform to look a certain way. Is all this pressure worth it in the end.

celebrities suffering with eating disorders?

The pressures put on celerities to look skinny is huge.
I personally feel that it is the newspapers and magazines to blame for portraying beautiful as ‘skinny’. As soon as a celebrity gains a few pounds it is on the front of every magazine and newspaper. So how do celebrities put up with this huge pressure from the press? Firstly they go into depression because of the negative media, which is being publicised with bad pictures taken without permission. Nobody likes it when someone say something negative about you so this pressure then leads them to think they have to change themselves into something there not to try and not get pin pointed by the press. You can imagine how this feels; this now results to insecurity, low self-confidence and a want to be something else.

Look at Kate Dillon Model Kate Dillon struggled with anorexia for seven years while working as a top print and runway model. Even though she was underweight, she was told by photographers to lose some more weight. From this she quit modelling for a while and worked on her body image and recovery. Kate now works as "plus-size" model and is a spokesperson for an eating disorder organization. "I weigh myself every week to make sure I'm not losing any weight. I love my body." ... "I've done better as a 'big' girl than most 'skinny' girls do as skinny models, so it's been amazing. But what’s more amazing is that I did it on my own terms." To put someone through all of this is ridiculous, why do u have to be skinny to be model? A common excuse I hear from designers is that clothes look better on a slimmer shape! If you’re supposedly a good designer than you should be able to make clothes look good on anyone no matter there height, shape size or appearance.

celbrity news has begun to crowd out legitamate news!

The fixation of celebrities has led to moral decay of our society. When could celebrity gossip over take a recent murder or an education fall within our the social order?. The balance between news and entertainment in the media has changed dramatically and in short order. Why has this happened? is money the big factor, no longer is it just magazines who have a lot of there articles to be entertainment but it now seems that newspapers have celebrities as there main feature on there front page. Celebrities are being discussed all the time in papers, magazines, radio and even television programmes photographers taking pictures all the time to the extent where celebrities feel they cannot look like an genuine person having a rough day at work. We are now being brought up in the culture now to read up on everybody else’s lives rather than reflect on your own to maybe make yourself a better person. A celebrity is something I would not put my hands up for, not having the freedom to do what you want when you want. It is like being encaged in ‘Big brother’ where everyone views your way of living while making up twisted truth. No one wants to hear good news about Posh spice BAD NEWS= people and money. How low can you be to invade someone’s privacy for money and express it to the nation when has anyone’s personal business ever been everybody else’s business. The point of my article was to highlight since when was CELEBRITY GOSSIP CONCIDERED AS NEWS........................
